Privacy policy

In plain language

RivalPatch is an early-stage managed service. We collect only the information needed to review applications, deliver agreed work, improve the website, and respond to questions. We do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

When you apply, we collect the name, work email, company, website, role, and context you submit. If you become a customer, we may also process the competitor set, prompts, public sources, feedback, and business contact details needed to deliver the service.

Our website records limited first-party product events such as page views, calls-to-action, and form completion. These records include the page, event label, campaign tags included in a visit link, and a randomized first-party session identifier kept in browser session storage so we can count a visit and connect its funnel steps. The identifier expires with the browser session and is not used across sites. Our implementation does not intentionally store raw IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or cross-site tracking cookies. A request source address and browser signature may be used transiently in server memory to enforce abuse limits; the resulting temporary key expires and is not written to analytics or application records.

Public sources and customer content

RivalPatch reviews publicly accessible webpages and AI-answer outputs for business research. We keep source references with material findings. Customers should not send secrets, sensitive personal data, or content they are not authorized to share.

Service providers

We may use infrastructure, communications, analytics, and payment providers to operate the service. When you apply, a limited operational alert containing your business contact details may be sent to our private communications channel; your free-text context is not included in that alert. Providers may process information only for the service they provide to us. This policy will be updated as production providers change.

Retention and security

We retain application and service records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal requirements, and legitimate business records. No system is perfectly secure, but we use access controls and practical safeguards appropriate to an early-stage service.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions. You may also ask us to stop contacting you about an application.
