Terms of service

Early-access service

RivalPatch provides managed research, monitoring, and content-support services for business teams. Features, workflows, availability, and founding-program capacity may change as the service develops. Applying does not create a customer relationship or payment obligation.

Scope and billing

If we accept an application, the agreed scope, start date, price, billing cycle, and any special conditions will be confirmed before work begins. The advertised founding rate is $499 per month unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. You may cancel before the next billing cycle; fees already earned for a current cycle are not automatically refundable.

No outcome guarantee

AI answers, citations, search rankings, platform policies, and third-party webpages change independently of RivalPatch. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, mentions, citations, revenue, or other outcomes. We commit only to the deliverables expressly included in an accepted service scope.

Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and timely review feedback.
• Ensure you have authority to share submitted materials and publish approved assets.
• Review factual, legal, regulatory, and brand claims before publication.
• Post community participation manually and disclose your affiliation where relevant.
• Use the service lawfully and respect third-party rights and platform rules.

Acceptable use

You may not use RivalPatch to impersonate others, deceive communities, automate spam, conduct unlawful surveillance, infringe intellectual property, access non-public systems without permission, or publish knowingly false claims. We may refuse or stop work that creates those risks.

Ownership

You retain ownership of materials you provide. Subject to payment of applicable fees, you may use final deliverables prepared specifically for you. RivalPatch retains ownership of its general methods, templates, tools, know-how, and pre-existing materials. Public sources remain subject to their respective owners’ rights.

Confidentiality

Each party should use reasonable care to protect the other party’s non-public business information and use it only for the agreed service. Information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source is not confidential.

Service availability and liability

The website and early-access service are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, RivalPatch is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Any aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed fees paid for the affected service during the prior three months.

Changes and contact
